The mission of the SAR SARGSYAN CULTURAL ENTERTAINMENT Foundation is to educate and promote the beauty of the world’s cultural diversity, and to showcase Polish culture both at national and international levels. The Foundation's activities cover a variety of mutually cohesive aspects, encompassing the organization and delivery of high-quality entertainment projects and events and cultural education as a foundation for cultural development on individual, national/communitarian, and international levels, in accordance with the cultural policy of Poland. The Foundation operates in Poland and worldwide.
The Foundation was established to develop ideas and deliver initiatives with the goal of fulfilling the following specific objectives:
1. The Foundation focuses on cultural and educational activities, including:
- Intracultural education – developing the understanding of one’s own culture;
- Metacultural competence – building the understanding of culture as such, its conditions, and its material and spiritual dimensions;
- Intercultural competence which covers education on the values and beauty of diverse cultures around the world through contrasting perspectives.
2. Fostering identity awareness within the national and cultural context.
3. Cultivating curiosity and openness toward cultural and identity differences as a way to broaden perspectives and foster mutually inspiring interactions.
4. Promoting intercultural education by introducing audiences to tangible and intangible cultural output – including the linguistic, traditional, historic, and musical (including vocal) heritage of various nations.
5. Promoting the understanding of the history of Poland and other countries, Polish and global cultural heritage, music, literature, film, theatre, architecture, visual arts, and the outstanding figures of Polish and international culture.
6. Ensuring access to Foundation-organized events for people of all ages, including youths, seniors, persons with disabilities, and those coming from communities with limited access to cultural resources.
7. Educating in the area of vocal reception and interpretation of classical songs, stage music, and other vocal genres, viewed as artistic responses to a country's historical and social contexts.
8. Promoting Polish culture and the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Poland among diverse generations of Poles and international audiences.
9. Promoting the achievements of Polish stage singers among the younger generations in Poland and abroad.
10. Preserving and promoting the artistic legacy of prominent Polish singers representing a variety of genres.
11. Preserving and promoting the artistic legacy of renowned international singers representing a variety of genres.
12. Building bridges between Polish national heritage and today’s society through intergenerational education, innovative storytelling of historical, cultural, musical, and social continuity, and creatively linking the past with the present to preserve tradition, heritage, and national identity among new generations.
13. Supporting civic education for Polish citizens and foreign nationals.
14. Creating cultural communities – preparing children, young people, and adults for active participation in and co-creation of culture.
15. Promoting the history and heritage of local communities across Poland.
16. Supporting the development and promotion of historical, local, and cultural tourism in Poland.
17. Encouraging senior engagement and intergenerational initiatives centered around history and culture.
18. Preventing cultural exclusion of vulnerable social groups, including persons with disabilities.
